Due to copyright issues, this link will no longer be active here on the website once I put copyrighted material in it.  (Once school begins, the link will be posted in Schoology for students.) Students-Please bookmark this link so you can access it in the summer before Schoology is available. I will also email the link (personal and/or school email). 

In July, if you still can't find the link, please email me and I can send it to you.  The practice tracks should be available mid-July. They are being purchased for the Choir students at Summer Creek.  I ask that you not post this link on social media or with students not at SCHS.  Once we know which songs will be in the first round in August, we will give hard copies of the sheet music to students who want to compete, but who haven’t purchased their own All-State Packet.  We will also scan the sheet music in August and place it in this folder. 

ALL STATE CAMPS

Consider participating in an all-state camp this summer.  There are tons to choose from at different college campuses across the state, at different price ranges, and at different dates throughout the summer.  These are some great reasons to participate:

1.   Students will learn the all-state music so they are better prepared to audition in the fall!

2.   Students can get out of the house and do something productive during the summer :-)

3.   Make new friends/deepen friendships with people who have something in common.  Many camps have other fun activities planned along with learning the music!

4.   Provides a great opportunity for students to check out colleges where they may want to go.  They can stay on campus and see what it's like to stay there!
 

Check out these links to All-State Camps and other summer opportunities. You can also go to your favorite college's music website.  They will usually have information about their all-state camp. Always double check the school’s website for the details (such as deadline and cost).  There are more details for each camp than are presented here!

Register right away because they fill up fast!  Click on the provided link to register online for most camps.  Be aware that we are a LARGE school.  You will want to participate in the Large School All-State camps (The majority of the schools in TX are considered "large school.")

You should order the set of All-State Music from one of the following vendors, Make sure you specify a men's or women's packet and ask for the Large School Packet. The packet will cost approximately $25 plus tax and shipping charges.  Most camps allow you to purchase a packet from them or it’s included with your camp fee.  Always double check on the camp’s website to see if the fee includes the packet of music.

Practice recordings will be available just prior to school starting.  I will Remind 101 & email a google drive link that will allow students access to the recordings. Make sure your email address is correct in Charms .
